Director, Capital Markets
Location: Sacramento, CA | Full-Time
This role is designed for a top producer who wants to take their business to the next level. At Dena Capital, you will have the flexibility to build and scale your production while benefiting from a strong national lender network and a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
You will be responsible for originating and executing commercial real estate financing transactions, while developing long-term relationships with clients and capital providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate debt and equity opportunities across all major commercial real estate asset classes
- Structure, underwrite, and package transactions for lender and investor presentation
- Prepare and present financing strategies tailored to each client’s investment objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, developers, investors, lenders, and brokers
- Source capital through a national network of banks, credit unions, life companies, CMBS lenders, debt funds, and private capital providers
- Lead negotiations to secure optimal terms, pricing, and structure
- Manage transactions from engagement through closing
- Coordinate with attorneys, escrow/title, appraisers, and third-party consultants
- Contribute to the growth of the Sacramento office and broader Dena Capital platform
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years in commercial real estate finance, mortgage banking, or capital markets
- Proven track record of originating and closing CRE debt and/or equity transactions
- Strong understanding of underwriting, capital structures, and lender requirements
- Existing relationships with local and national real estate owners, investors, and lenders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a personal book of business
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
- Ability to analyze investments from both borrower and capital provider perspectives
- Knowledge of multifamily and agency lending (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac) is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field preferred
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- Active California real estate license (or ability to obtain within 120 days) preferred
- Willingness to travel locally within Northern California, with occasional out-of-state travel

Executive Assistant
Location: Sacramento, CA | Full-Time
This role is designed for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. At Dena Capital, you will play a critical role in supporting the President & Chief Executive Officer and driving operational efficiency across client management, lender coordination, and marketing initiatives.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative functions, supporting deal execution, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, lenders, and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
- Manage calendar scheduling, coordinate meetings, and send confirmations on behalf of the President & Chief Executive Officer.
- Organize travel logistics including conferences, client meetings, and events (flights, hotels, dining, transportation)
- Maintain CRM systems and update contact records
- Prepare invoices, engagement agreements, and internal documentation
Client & Deal Management Support
- Distribute loan checklists, SharePoint links, and onboarding materials to prospective clients
- Follow up to collect outstanding financial documentation and required items
- Assist in preparing lender packages, including loan summaries and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with clients and lenders to address underwriting questions and outstanding conditions
- Work with title and escrow companies to open files and support transaction progress
Lender & Capital Markets Coordination
- Maintain and organize a database of lenders, loan programs, and credit parameters
- Track lender quotes and manage pipeline updates
- Schedule and coordinate lender calls and introductions
- Assist in monitoring deal status from initial inquiry through closing
Marketing & Business Development Support
- Create and manage email campaigns using Constant Contact
- Draft and post professional updates on LinkedIn, including closings, market insights, and lender highlights
- Assist in developing marketing materials and outreach strategies
- Maintain prospect databases and support follow-up campaigns
What We’re Looking For
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional email etiquette
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and accountability
- Experience in commercial real estate, finance, or marketing is preferred but not required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field preferred
- Prior experience as an executive assistant, administrative professional, or operations support role preferred
- Familiarity with marketing platforms and CRM systems is a plus
